How does the GCC automatic sliding door system contribute to the world with our green technology for less carbon emission?
In response to the worldwide energy and carbon emission topics, corporations and architects have always been concerned with how to conserve and save energy in recent years.
To choose an automatic sliding door system, there are three key points:
Table of contents:
Power consumption
The traditional belt-driven automatic sliding door system averagely requires 60W~90W to drive the panel, as it uses a belt/pulley/gear(box) to drive the panel against friction.
GCC BAISA-M2 linear magnetic sliding door technology can assist every enterprise in saving more than 83% of power consumption from traditional automatic door systems with only 10W~20W, elevating your architectural design to the next level and contributing to environmental sustainability from commercial buildings to residential houses.
Here is a test report from TÜV:

2. Track size
With the traditional belt-driven system, designers have to use many decoration materials to hide the top track for a clean vision, however, it could generate more cost and more material waste(carbon emission).
With the GCC BRISA-M2 magnetic linear technology, as there is no belt/pulley/gearbox, the track height can be reduced from an average of 120mm to only 58mm, which allows the designer can minimise their decoration material use or leave the top track as its size is almost the same as the horizontal profile for their room partition.

3. Safety
A traditional belt-driven automatic sliding door system requires at least two (infrared)sensors to avoid people/objects getting trapped/hit by the fast-moving door panel.

With the GCC BRISA-M2 magnetic linear technology, the door will immediately rebound when it touches any object at a very soft touch only by using fewer sensors or not using them to save cost with less carbon emission.
